Who are we?
SacréBD is a student initiative that is created at the University of Reims.
We are three master’s students at the University of Reims. Our objective is simple: to highlight the world of comics in Reims which, although very rich, is still unknown to the general public.
What was at the start a university project transformed into a real media platform. We will explore this world with podcasts, videos and interviews with figures related to comics. We manage this project in total autonomy, with our own means and a lot of passion.
We are addressing a wide audience: comic book lovers, students, tourists, or simply the curious, wishing to discover Reims’ culture differently.
what Is "sacréebd"?
This is a master's end project carried out by students from the University of Reims. Our online platform is dedicated to the promotion of comics, authors and events related to Reims and its region.
What are the selection criteria for artists and places?
We operate on contact and exchange. We choose the artists with whom the dialogue is open or is recommended to us. Famous or not, the important is their link with Reims. For places, we highlight workshops like The Tribe or the Atelier 510, as well as the Interplanetary Festival of Rémoise Comic.
How can I suggest a topic?
We are very reactive! The best is to go through our social networks or by e-mail. Do not hesitate to submit your ideas to us; articles, podcasts or suggesting a local artist.
Do you organize physical events?
Sacrée BD is an exclusively online platform (articles, podcasts, interviews). We do not plan to organize physical events.
What is the format of your podcasts?
We like to take our time. Our interviews are discussions of twenty to thirty questions, with no time limit. They are available on our website and on streaming platforms (Spotify, Youtube). It is called “Entre Les Cases”.
Is the content verified?
Yes it is. We write our articles ourselves, but we ensure quality by having the information validated directly by the people concerned when it is necessary.
